Knit Hello is a typeface made especially for hand knitting. It was developed for beginners – knitters without previous knowledge in typography, and graphic designers who have just picked up their needles. Knit Hello’s four cuts serve different parts of your process: from Pixel, a font for layout and knitting programs, to KnitGrid, a font with integrated chart and slipstitch notation.
The Knit Hello Font Family:
Knit Hello Pixel ︎︎︎ for layout programs and machine knitting
Knit Hello DotGrid ︎︎︎ for hand sketching and letter modification
Knit Hello LineGrid ︎︎︎ for large-scale hand knitting
Knit Hello KnitGrid ︎︎︎ for beginner hand knitting
Knit Hello started as workshop exercise showing the basics of Typographic Knitting. Based on Slipstitches, the typeface allows colorwork knitting without long floats and getting entangled. Whether you work on screen or on paper, Knit Hello helps you write ready-to-knit messages and make your own Typographic Knitting pattern!
